Hey all-
Great board! Glad to see there's a place where more substantive issues can be discussed (as well as less-lofty ones) without all the ... well, you know what I mean.
I'm trying to better understand the differences between the steering assemblies between the pre-4/99 Z3s and the post 4/99 models - as well as the Ms, if anything changed for those cars.
It would be GREATLY appreciated if anyone has ETK or parts CD diagrams of the steering wheel - to - clockspring juncture. Alternatively, if anyone happens to be working in that area and can snap a few pics, It would help a lot in understanding just what's going on in there.
I haven't removed my own wheel yet - my freakin torx heads won't fit in the holes in the wheel - have to pick up a set of drivers later... I have a pre-4/99, so the post- model is the one I really need.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
David
