hi all
before i go and take off the //m leather steering wheel and airbag to see what it is i wonder if any1 here
has had the same issue

when i turn my wheel half turn left or right, its like something is rubbing in the steering column...
the noise comes from i would say just after where the steering wheel bolt would be...

its nuthing major, almost like something needs to be lubed up...

i remember on a pickup i used to have, the steering wheel did similiar.... was this little plastic
ring/sleeve thingy that was worn...

what is the issue?

any ideas

could be the clock spring, it holds all the electrical wires. as you turn the steering wheel, the clockspring rotates, and when worn it makes a clicking noises. however, i am not positive that is your problem. only way would be to remove the steering wheel and see if you can replicate the noise. just make sure you disable the airbag before doing so. hopefully others can give their opnions:)
