Car is a 2k1 330ci/manual.

Throttle pedal fixed last night. So far acceleration is much smoother, perhaps even a bit more responsive.

Still experience throttle lag, but not as bad as before. I'd say it is 50% better than before.

Spoke at length with the service manager about this and I can't understand why no one can change the programming to make the throttle more responsive. These seems to go completely against the idea of having a fbw system.

Give me back the hard cable if that is the case.

The Dinan software remaps the throttle and makes the lag much less noticable, much more balanced.

I still maintain that the DBW throttle we currently have is nothing more than a hack fix to keepo BMW from having to use multiple different assemblies. It sucks in the current system, but we will (hopefully) like it a lot more when valvetronic comes out.
