I have a 2013 X1 3.5i that came with 8" wide Style 322 Y-spoke wheels all around (BMW part #36116789145). I also see that there's a Style 322 Y-Spoke that is 9" wide (BMW #36116789146). So my question is: can I replace my 8" Style 322 wheels with the 9" version? I am guessing the 9" Style 322 will only fit in the rear and not in the front, so I can only replace the rear wheels. But maybe you guys know better and can let me know if all the wheels can be replaced with the 9" Style 322. Thanks.
Are you considering Both Square and Staggered Set Ups?
A 9"on the front with a 235/245 Tire might be OK without rubbing. You will have to ask around for this at Tire Places as you have done here.
How much would 2x9" from BMW Cost? Could this price get you 4 Aftermarket Wheels of your choice? OR 4x9" from BMW get you Aftermarket Wheels AND Tires of your choice.
1) 8"F c/w A 225 or B 235.
9"R c/w A255 or B265.
2) AFTERMARKET= 8.5"F c/w A 235 or B 245.
9.5"R c/w A 265 or B 275.
Either A or B Combinations.
From what I have seen on Forums A Staggered Set Up. The Running Diameter needs to be less than 1% or the same for the F and R Tires, especially for Xdrives.
You will need all your Original Spec's to start with. You can then Mix/ Match at tirerack or willtheyfit to name a few.
Whelcome to the Wheel and Tire Minefield :dunno: Good luck with your searches.
