It might be a stupid question but i cannot figure it out. Whether 2012 X5 premium has a sunglass holder?

It does not. I lay mine on the cup holder.

There is a clip on the mirror side of the sunshades that is used as a sunglasses holder. I guess its euro design

Yes I agree this is insane not to have a sunglass holder on a 60,000 car

Really? A sunglasses holder. I have always felt that those things were a waste. I never put my nice glasses in those things, because they get scratched up, I keep them in the quality case the glasses came with and I put them in the door hold or in the center console.

I like to have that option and if people don't like it then they can use whatever convenient to them.

I used to put my garage door opener in there on my old cars because HomeLink didn't work with my opener, but after I got a new one, it just was kind of there. No need for a sunglasses holder.

If anything, I really want a smartphone cubby or something that's NOT the cupholder.

I just checked, I don't see any sort of clip.
