Hi All,

I have a 2012 E70 x35d and yesterday I saw that there are suspension sensors on the driver's side of the car for the rear and front suspension but my car does not have self-leveling neither adaptive suspension.

Does anybody know what are those for?

Ditto DH...according to the part database (using a 2012 X5 35d w/no adaptive drive & rear SLS)...there is ONE level sensor for HEADLIGHT VERTICAL AIM CONTROL on the front & rear suspension (see #1 & #7 in the diagram below). It calls for TWO sensor (each) on each axle if you have option codes S2VAA (adaptive drive) and/or S220A (self leveling suspension aka "SLS"):
