The two times Vince and I installed rear bars, we had a HELL of a time getting both rear brackets mounted up. One of us had to hang our weight on the bar while the other pounded on the bracket.

I experienced problem getting the brackets on when I tightened one of them too much before I did the other one. If you tighted each a bit at a time, they go on much easier.

I lubed them last summer when I heard squeeks but haven't had any since. The bushings are much easier to work with than when they were brand new.
