According to C&D the price for the M2 just went up $1,000 for 2017. No information if this includes additional equipment.


Kinda sad they see it as a hit and need to soak the customers for more right off the bat. I understand inflation, but a grand just a couple months after it hits the market is kind of annoying.

When GM quickly raised the price on the Vette by $2,500 right after it was released, my interest went to $0. The long term tests with blown engines and many other problems has kept it there.

The 6 Series range sees the coupe getting cheaper by $300 across the board while the convertible is now $300 more expensive compared to last year. Gran Coupe models, on the other hand, are $300 to $1,000 more expensive than the 2016 cars while all variants of the 2017 M6 are now $300 more than last year. For the 2017 model year, the 7 Series cuts $200 off its starting price, while the smallest M car, the M2, is now $995 more expensive. Pricing for the 2017 i8 stays at $141,695 on the standard car. The 2017 i3***8217;s price has increased by $1,195 to $44,595 on standard models and $1,200 with the available range extender to $48,445.

The pricing guides here on this board say the same price and the $995 quoted price increase is coincidentally the same exact dollar amount of the destination charge. Maybe it is just bad reporting?

Larger Tires on 2017

I noticed that instead of the 2016 tires with the front being 245 and backs at 265 and they are now 255 front and 275 back.

Bad reporting! The 2017 M2 pricing is exactly the same $51,700 as the 2016, however dealerships are paying more for them as 2017 BMW invoice pricing has changed.

Good catch on the change in tire size.

It's $2000 in Canada but the executive package is standard now.The tire size was a BMW typo.I ordered mine yest. Tire sizes unchanged.The sunroof is also an option as well

Indeed it was. The latest 2017 M2 pricing and ordering guides have been corrected by BMW.
