Some old guy from Indiana did. She's gone :( Sold her yesterday, and I scraped up about $5400 plus a few for her.


Any suggestions of in the family cars for DD duties for <2k? I was thinking E28, E21, or E32... I'd have to be manual.

I see what you did there... IF it was unintentional, you just did quite well.
Ive always had a love affair with those cars and will own one someday :thumbup:

dont aske me why i just love the look of em, plus you can put the turbo on a NA one and have it be quicker than the turbo's :thumbup:

Funny.

I learned to how to drive on my mom's old '88 240DL 5spd Touring. RWD was fun :D

I'm not totally sure, I was thinking something cheaper for a while, and save up and buy something nicer out of school..
April fools you fools. I didn't sell my car, you're nuts.
But do I want an M30?

there are plenty of cheap 4dr 5 series bmws floatin around for 5-10k... in my town there seems 2b a surplus of 740ils going around these days

The 740iLs are everywhere for cheap. CL down here is full of them for very little money because they are a maintenance nightmare. I could buy two of them for less than one decent e36 M3 costs.
