I posted the following in the car audio forum over a week ago, but didn't receive any responses, so I figured I'd post here:
I have a 2016 340xi with navigation/iDrive and had a question regarding the timeshift feature for satellite radio. Reading the manual, it states that a timeshift buffer of up to one hour will only be saved for the current station, and then be wiped out when you change stations. I've found that I have a buffer for not only the station I'm currently tuned into, but also for any station that I have linked to one of the 1-8 keys, and this buffer isn't wiped out when I change stations. Am I crazy, or is this how the timeshift feature works? Thank you.
