There has to be an intelligent reason why they would do this, but I aint smart enough to figure it. What is it?

Yup. I was at the SF dealership this morning. There was another guy who really liked the S cooper on display. And neither of us knew where the hood release was. The salesperson knew. I guess they are well trained.
well trained....yeah right.

well trained? I don't know Jack and it seems that the salesperson is always less informed than I am. So does anyone else have any input into why the hood release is on the right? The right hand driver answer is good, but that could be easily modified especially. Gotta be another reason?

Maybe they're trying to make some kind of a statement...kinda like Saab refusing to move the ignition from the console?!?

Mea Culpa!!!!! I made a gross and eggregious over generalization. Most of all I have learned has come from this board and the others and just plain ol' reading and studying. My thanks to you for your interest and passion for bmw's and promoting bmw goodwill in cyberspace.

Jon Shafer-You, Sir, know Jack! And if you don't you do your homework and find him.
