Please help me answer a question for a family friend who drives a 330i:

I have a "flat tire" message on the computer screen in my car; had the tire pressure checked at the gas station; the two rear tires were both low and I had air added.

The question is, how do I reset the tire pressure indicator? I vaguely remember that there is a reset menu somewhere in the computer (I went through this once before as you may recall) but I can't access the appropriate screen because the computer is fixed on FLAT TIRE !! warning.

Any tips that will spare me a trip to the dealer?
Thanks in advance,
--Jon

It is in the manual, under "Reinitialise Flat Tire Monitor".

With the ignition on, turn the serrated dial on the turn stalk until you see the (!) menu. Press BC to enter the menu, and then hold it for 3-5 seconds. Drive off after doing so. The warning should disappear.

This is assuming her 330i does not have sat nav.

Thanks. Not sure if she has navigation, but I think so...

Hey Eric,

Damn it's been a long time... Great to see you back with a BMW.

Your car looks great, and so does your avatar.
