I am expecting delivery of my 330Ci with sport package in the coming weeks. I was curious to know what make of tires they put on the vehicle. Should I request a certain brand, either Continental or Michelin or doesn't it matter all that much.

I've read a few posts from people who've tried to get their dealer to equip their cars with specific wheels or tires - and didn't have much luck. Seems you "get what you get". But who knows, try and see if they'll bend.

Made a deal with mine to switch the wheels out with another one on the lot if it did not have the Pilots. They agreed.

But they already were on the car when it arrived!! :thumb:

I actually had a representative call me about this after posting the same thread on .org back in June 01. She worked with me to make sure the car left the NJ VPC with Pilot Sports (what I asked for). The car shipped with Conti Sports on it, so I'm glad I took the time to make the change.

I can't disclose her name/contact info (per her request) but I'm sure if you give BMWNA a call and ask to speak with a customer service _manager_ you will get someone of equal caliber! She was awesome; kept me in the loop about everything and still continues to contact me occassionally to make sure everything's going well.

BTW, you want Pilot Sports, end of story.
