Hi,
Does anyone know if the titanium trim for the headlights exists for the z3 roadster? I think this will be a cool option for mine:thumbup:

According to the 2001 parts catalog, the answer is no. It is an E46 thing only.

However, as others have done with their 3er, you could always remove your head trim and have it painted.

Just an idea!

Thnx a lot for the fast reply. This is a pretty good alternative.

I used Rustoleum alunium spray bought @ Home Depot. Pretty easy, all you need is the DIY for headlights trim
Wow:yikes: , looks pretty good, it looks like the factory ones. Theres one thing: i don't know how to remove the trims on a Z3??????

:dunno: I don't know how to remove either but you can try to look at the DIY from the series. I would guess it looks somewhat similar :flipoff: Here is the link, you can try

As i can see, its not so easy:tsk:
It just looks bad - I installed that inserts in my car in about 20-30 minutes....it didn't this long because there was anything really difficult, only because I went slowly and carefully (lots of little plastic tabs that like to break). Plus, it was march, and I was freezing my a** off! :D
