Hi everyone!

I'm replacing the head gasket on my M 50 NonVanos engine. I took the cylinder head into get machined. And I have cleaned up the deck of the engine block using fine wet sand paper, WD-40, and a sanding block made of Square aluminum tubing.

I just want to know what is the final tolerance that I should be looking for on the engine block? Using a straight edge and a feeler gauge, .004 is perfect, but .002 sticks in a few places.

Will this be OK with the head gasket that I'm using?
