I took a long drive today through some twisty and hilly backroads... I must say I'm really pleased with how my 325i with SP handles. I took some 30 mph curves at 60 mph and the car just hugged the road like no other car I've driven. It's been a month since I got this car and I love it more every mile I drive.

:thumb: I know what you mean. I love driving this car!

Ever since I took delivery I've been taking turns faster than I would have before. I keep pushing the car a little harder to see if I can get a hint of complaint out of the tires or DSC or something, but no it just happily goes where I point it.

I've stopped trying this with other ppl in the car though.

Haha! I drove with my co-worker in the passenger seat and took a highway exit ramp a little too fast. The car handled it with ease... the co-worker looked a little alarmed at the speed. :yikes:
did you check the passenger seat for stains? :lmao:
Passengers

That's something that should be in the owners manaul, a warning about having two different driving habits: with passengers and without. My wife was mighty upset with me last weekend on our first long drive in the car since we had it in Europe.....

31st330i: I saw your post last week regarding the Calaveras drive. I decided to take a drive up there today and boy was it worth every minute! There are some incredible views and the roads are so twisty it begs for the car to be driven hard. I took some turns at 30-40 mph with much ease. Although I had to take it easy somewhat as the gf was a bit nervous as the road is very narrow and have no gaurd rails for the most part. I'd like to take a mountain bike up there next time as this would be another great alternative for exicitment. I started from 237/calaveras up to Geary and turned around. Is there anything worth seeing further north of Geary? And what is down Geary as I noticed it was not a through street? THanks again for the advice.
