Avus -vs- Topaz

I have 2 pics of M3s, one Topaz and another Avus. In the pics they look nearly identical, what's the difference? Topaz is darker right?

I think Avus is a little darker. I remember seeing a fair amount of Avus e36 M3s a few years back-- and thinking that it was a really nice color. Somehow, the Topaz just doesn't seem to have the same richness and depth. I say "bring back Avus!". If they'd offered that color I would've gotten it.

Was it ever confirmed that additional colors had been added to the E46 M3 list? There was some talk about a month ago about color additions. Ever hear anything official? Thanks.

They **never** publish a list, or tell us anything official; in fact, they discourage special orders. Every time that we have a question regarding availability we have to pester them for the latest current offerings..

Boy, that Avus is nice. The topaz 330i looks a bit washed out compared to Avus.

The best blue? Make mine Le Mans....
