TPMS iDrive not showing pressure and temp

Posting in general because I think it may apply to any iDrive able to display TPMS data.

I recently had new tires installed on a 2014 BMW x3. With the old tires I could see pressure and temp. When I first started with the new tires it required a TPMS reset and now I get no errors but also no pressure and temperature displayed on the iDrive. Haven't talked to tire installer but I am assuming that because I have no error the sensors are still on rims. I have reseet several times and driven over 400 miles.

Any idea how to get TPMS data to display again?

Did you reuse / think that you reused the OLD sensors? There are more incompatible NEW sensors than there are compatible ones.

Not all TPMS / ECU are able to display pressure or temperature. Mine only triggers the warning at some fractions below set point, no value displayed.
It did display the info prior to the new tires. I am assuming they re-used the old TPMS sensors as I initially did get the first waring to reset the TPMS. I did a reset and no further warnings. I assume that if they did not reuse the sensors I would be getting multiple warnings that a TPMS sensor was failing or missing.

Hello, sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did you get the pressure and temp to show up again? I just installed new oem tpms sensors and having the same problem.

Hi - did anyone get this issue resolved? I am having the same issue with my 2023 vehicle
Is this all BMW TPI? I have not seen temp indicator reading anywhere on 2021 X5. What years is temp reading applicable to? The pressure readings are valid in the i7 system, on both sets of summer and winter tires for the vehicle but no temp readings.
For this 2023, I had both the temp and the pressure information per tire appear prior to the dealership fixing my rim and installing one new tire. Now its no longer visible (all tires just show green to indicate they are ok). The dealer has no idea what happened and why it no longer is visible. I did some research and can find that this information is available on some models back to 2020.
