The LED strip of LED lights work but about 4 of the LEDs don't come on. No big deal but it does get noticed. I guess I'll have to replace the entire LED ..right? I've never heard of any repair method.:bawling:
I replaced my center brake light a couple of months ago. There is a video on YouTube that will show you how to do. Also, make sure you shop around for the light. I think I paid $59 for it from eBay. Good Luck!
A word of caution. When you replace the lights be very careful not to tighten the nuts too much. Many lights crack at the ends because the geniuses at the factory over tightened many of them , including mine, of course. Be sure to get new springs for the nuts, which oddly do not come with the lights. The newer springs are softer than the originals.
