I'm looking for a good storage net for the trunk of my 330ci and wondered if anyone knows of a good one besides the one offered by the dealer. My dealer said she can get me their's for $75.00, but it has to be ordered. Are there others out there that work as well for a better price? I'm in the Central Valley in Ca and would prefer to buy in person rather than online, but will consider all options.

Thanks!

If you want a "pocket" net, you can use the one that Ford sells for the L/M Grand Marquis/Ford Contour for about $40. You can attach it to the bolts that hold the taillights in; if interested, let me know.

Ack! $75?? Have you checked around other dealers? I have one of those that I got for my '00 328Ci. I bought it in late '99 and although I can't remember the exact price now I'm sure it wasn't even close to $75 or I wouldn't have purchased it.

For the record, mine was from BMW and it has clips on four sides to connect to the "loops" in the trunk. It's very useful and I use it very frequently. First thing I did was flip the trunk mat over to the "non slip" rubber side. Between this and the net, nothing moves in my trunk (computer backpack, pizzas, wine, groceries...) and nothing gets stained - simply wipe off the trunk mat.

Yipper: Yeah, $75.00 is what she quoted me. I called another dealer near my office and they wanted $92.00!! I think it's the kind that covers the floor of the trunk and just keeps things from sliding around.

JST: The one you're talking about, is it the kind that stretches from side to side and is up against the rear of the trunk and expands out into the trunk area depending on what you put in it? I'm looking for something that will hold a couple of small grocery bags so they don't spill over when driving home from the store.

Thanks!
