Sorry for the questions, I’ve never used ISTA before. Once I locate the correct service function what do I do? Is there options to select? I’m installing it now

 

You need to turn off warm/cold check on bdc. Your old headlight of turn signal is bulb .

 

Do I turn that off in ISTA? If so, how

 

You can use BimmerCode to do or esys.

 

I don’t see the option on BimmerCode under bdc. Do you know the code on esta?

I did that and it did not work. I read you can’t use BimmerCode since this was a new control module

So I tried a newer version of ISTA and I still don't see the option... should I try injecting a new cafd or try coding the other module? any help is appreciated

 

I have turn signal malfunction. It used to also have high/low beam malfunction but it was fixed somehow

 

Turn signal open circuit
High beam voltage too high

 

I only have one module installed, so currently the error is only for right. Left side has OEM headlight still. Headlight has no defects that I know of. It is brand new headlight and module

 

Solved! Thank you everyone for your help, I have figured it out. The DRL module is faulty, picture attached. I knew something was up when everything else worked….
