Finally got my steering vibration issue resolved. I have 2 options.

They will put me in a 335sportline auto, HK, sportauto, leather for the same payment i am making on my 328

or a 328 msport leather xenons HK sportauto

Tough decision.

Nice result! Go for the 335 this time!

I hope you get into a car that you enjoy. May I suggest a careful test drive before signing?

it's a tough one, love the 328 and really love the msport look, but the 335 has some nice perks aside from the engine like alarm and brakes.

Then again the thought of saving 40-50bucks a month is appealing.

Less than a nano-second to decide.

Yea, im leaning towards the 335, if it still had the N54 it would be a no brainer for me.

It's a no-brainer now.
You mean F30 specific?
steering vibration is a widespread issue...
Maybe for you. I don't mind the 4cylinder, and like the look of the msport not to mention saving 50-60 bucks a month isn;t too bad either. Then again i wish the 328 had the brakes the 335 did, and i would probably need the 19's. cant imagine those 225/45 being able to handle the power from the 335.

Yes, performance over cuteness is an easy call.
Maybe for you.

Take the 328i M-Sport, don't even think about the other option.

There's a ton of power in the 328i, as you know, it's 0-60 time equivalent to the 335i in realworld conditions, and you'll be getting the M-Sport package, M-Sport suspension, leather, xenons, and Harmon Kardon? Are you kidding me. You hit the lottery!

Not to mention, the M-Sport look is great, very appealing. You seem to be a bit concerned about the money, so the more fuel-efficient engine will help in the long run too. A bunch of people will come after me for this, that's expected. Read this thread thoroughly, it will help you make that 328i decision very easily:

Oh I didn't realize the 335 was costing you more, then it is a tougher decision. It will be more on fuel and insurance too...

LMAO. M sport. what is that boy racer and then you realize. Oh its just a 328i. BJ I expected nothing else from you. All show no substance

The only reason you perceive the 328i as some slouch is because the 335i exists. It has a bump in horsepower, that's it. The 328i is lighter, more agile, handles better, and is real-world equal in 0-60 acceleration.

If the 335i didn't exist you'd be in here extolling the greatness of the 328i. Why? Because it's better than every other car in it's segment. And in my limited understanding of sports enthusiasm weight, agility, and balance are a bigger deal than horsepower is. Read Emission's first impressions of the F30's on the test track, speaks volumes.

You present very persuasive rationale for trying to flatten the curve to have more people settle for a 4 cylinder 328i. It's like you are taking a page out of the Obama socialist doctrine!

Neither. BMW's are sports cars and should have manual transmissions. :)

Seriously, I think I'd need a test drive to make sure. The 335 has the better engine but will probably cost more to insure and drink more fuel. Color is another consideration. What color are each of the choices?
Well there you go again with the "if" word. Sure and if BMW didn't exist you would be on the Acura forum saying what a great car this is.

I will not argue that the 328i is a slouch, its not. Its a very well shorted out car with good level of performance. But that was not the question of the OP was it? Nope. The question at hand BJ is for an extra 50 dollars a month you want the extra HP and better brakes or do you want a fake boy racer M package that adds nothing to the performance.

Now judging from you old E90 I was not surprised you went for the M look. I would go for more power and better brakes. Unlike you I could care less what Mr. and Mrs Camry think of my car. For me its the performance, utility, and fun factor that counts. thus said the 335i plus 50 dollars per month is the ride i would choose.
