I have also a technical question to ask you, to add the SLI option (SA8TH) on my car with E-Sys:

• it seems that there are some "dependencies" between the ECUs, (here: HU, KOMBI and KAFAS2),
• so it is necessary to CODE the ECUs in a particular order for don't "broke" the complete system.

My question is how to know the order in which the coding must be done?
Is there any function in E-Sys who can inform me on "how to know the order" ?

SLI requires coding Head Unit, Kombi, and Kafas. Order not matter.

Do you know if it is necessary to add a launcher to E-Sys for disable START/STOP on F30 BMW ?
I understand that I must modify CAD TCM_MSA_DEFAULT_OFF and do an FDL CODING after.
If it is true and if it is possible, could you send me a link to the launcher who can authorize that with E-Sys?

No need for a launcher when using FA. Add OMSA to FA, write to car and code FEM. This will not code the MSA default off but activates TSA memory so that it is always in the state it was last put, unless you use ECO mode, to disable that you need launcher or some other tool that can do changes to cafds.

Edit: In FA, add OMSA to H-WORT section. I would also assume that MSA coding should be something bimmercode can also handle. If not then I'm surprised.

 

A big thank you for your reply. Everything becomes clearer by making the link between a BimmerDoc video and your explanations. The video showed the removal of START/STOP "WITH" E-Sys+launcher (Edit NCD then NCD code) and then "WITHOUT" launcher (FA-> addition of OMSA in HO-Wort. I didn't understand anything!
Concerning Bimmercode I confirm that it codes 1-MEMORIZATION or 2-DEFAULT=OFF.
I had a payment problem between my bank and GooblePlay 1 month ago and I gave up.
After your anwer I tried to buy it again: with success. So I immediately tested the DEFAUT=OFF coding as well as ECOMODE=OFF: everything is OK ))

I still have to unlock the SLI of the KAFAS2 camera, here I will have to use E-Sys. I hesitate between entrusting this operation to my BMW dealer (who agrees to do it but is not too sure of the time to spend (therefore the final cost for me)) or buying the FSC and doing it myself with E-Sys, because, although I am a old informatician, I fear making a fatal mistake.
