I live in Houston, (where it's hot) and when I take my 2009 35i to the track, the oil temperature is > 300. I looked and don't have an external oil cooler. I need to improve the engine cooling but don't know if I should upgrade the radiator or add an external oil cooler. Any suggestions are appreciated. I am running a Cobb tune and have an upgraded FMIC.

No way I am an expert but seems that if you want to cool the oil, the most efficient way would be to add an oil cooler, I thought there was an oil cooler as an integral part of the radiator?

I think you're correct. Any suggestions on which one? Stett has an oil cooler for the N54 but not specific for the E89. I believe Dinan has one for the E89.
