Hello,

This is my first time posting here. I have a 2014 320i with the sport package. I understand that the bluetooth audio will not work without the option. Is it the same with the USB? Do I have to use BMW's connector for the iPhone to work with the USB part? I have an iPhone 5. Was there a recent software update? Sorry for all the questions.

You could get Bluetooth to work with coding. USB you need the BMW Y cable. Alternatively, you can use the BMW (or third party) Y cable and a bluetooth adapter such as the Air2Play 1000 and get bluetooth streaming.
