Your original key has a transponder inside, this transponder is picked up via the toroidal coil around the ignition key slot.

To make this work you will need to remove the coil from around the ignition housing and insert your original key inside this coil.

If you do not have the original key then you will need the EWS module, DME and ignition key with lock from the same vehicle has they all share the same rolling code.

Or send your original DME, EWS module and new/used key to RPM Motorsport and they can match the set so your car will start.

Mark.
