We are in the process of selling my son's 2004 BMW 325i, 5-speed manual, 4-dr, moon roof, with 86,000 miles. The kbb private party value very good to excellent value is in the range of $3,900 to $4,200. On Auto Trader, I see that some 2003's with a lot more miles have dealer asking prices in the $4,000 to $10,000 range. Considering the make, model and mileage, are these cars selling above Kelly Blue Book values? Thanks

Prices can vary widely, depending on location. Look on eBay for models similar to yours, then filter the results to isolate the SOLD auctions. Check those prices, try the ones closest to you first.
eBay is usually a pretty good indicator of what people are willing to pay for a car.
