I had the same thing happen this weekend. It had to do with me taking my headlight apart and not putting it back together properly. If the seal isn't air tight, you will get condensation inside the lens.

If you or the dealer hasn't messed with the headlight, I would have them check your seals. There is a rubber boot on the back of the headlamp assembly, and another rubber seal around the whole plastic lens.

Thanks for the posts.

And Ack...... yes I DID!!! Just yesterday I replaced the headlight trim and thats why I needed a wash because of all the dust and dirt.....

Dang, that installation was such a pain(esp the ending part) and now looks like I have to redo it...:bawling: :bawling:
Tell me about it. I spent an hour yesterday taking the headlight assembly apart and putting it back together. It sounds like its definitely your cover. You probably just missed one of the clips. You can take the cover off without removing the entire assembly; its really tight, but it can be done. Just make sure your eyebrow is out of the way.

Good luck! :D

I spent two... and broke two nails...

Maybe I didnt put the rubber strips on??!!?? The package comes with two bags of black/orange rubber strips. I didnt know what they are and nowhere in the instruction shows what to do with them, so I just placed them in the trunk.
I'm not sure about the seals. The headlight should already have them, but maybe with the new trim, there is a different seal. :dunno: Can you take a picture of them?

ok, last nite I took the headlight apart and I think(hope) I found out which clips are not on properly. Anyways, within the package, there are two bags of these strips:
The orange strip looks like its just the protective backing for the glue. Since I can't tell how big this strip is, I don't know where that would go. The strip around the headlight assembly didn't seem that thick. :dunno: I didn't really take a lot of time to look at it when I took apart my headlight; sorry bimmee!

Was it the clips surrounding the headlamp (I think there are seven total) that weren't on all of the way?

Hey Ack,
. . .
Thanks for all the help!!
No problem bimmee! :D Anything to help out. Hopefully those three clips were the culprit. I noticed if they aren't clipped all of the way, the seal isn't perfect and water will get trapped in there. Let me know if this solved your problem. Worse comes to worse, just take the car to the dealership and have them replace it under warranty. :p
