New to forum, recently purchased an amazing F10 in pristine condition. The only issue I haven't been able to sort is I have a Check Vehicle warning at start up that show 01/2000 :tsk:
I have searched threads and found a few with members taking into dealer multiple times for parts swapping and system updating, speculation of a associated brake fluid warning issue, multiple service bulletins discussed as well as a disconnect battery for 30 minutes "fix". Does anyone know it this issue has been pinpointed and sorted? Thanks FP

btw I have tried to reset using the trip counter method and it says reset available only to show reset unsuccessful after executing.

Very interesting. Have you tried contacting a BMW dealership? Quite often they will be able to help you pinpoint any issues over the phone (at least from my experience).

Good luck!

Software update is the only working solution.

Been there, done that.
Tried disconnecting the battery but issue came back.

Good luck!
