Have two questions on BMW Warranties.

First one.

If one was to buy a slightly used 2005 3-Series, in a person to person sale. How does this effect the normal warranty coverage?

Also if said BMW was orginially purchased with the BMW Maintenance Program upgrade for 6 years - 100,000 miles. Would this be transferable?

It doesn't affect the warranty. You would get the balance of the 4 year/50,000 mile warranty (calculated from the in-service date).

Nope.. the warranty and maintenance program go with the VIN number... no matter who has possession of the car..

You might have a service advisor pull the vehicle history report, to verify that the extended maintenance program is on there...
