Hey everybody,
Just trying to catch up on write ups that are way overdue.
This was the first Interlagos Blue M3 I got a chance to work on and the fact that it was an e90 made it that much more interesting. The car was dropped off and left with me for a few days since the owner was heading out of town.
As usual the first walk around shots
I rinsed off the rims and then applied p21s wheel cleaner
While the wheel cleaner was working I moved on to the engine and exhaust
no during shots just befores and afters
before
after
after
and an artsy farsty shot
The exhaust was not to bad so just a microfibre mitt was needed
after
I turned on the car to let the engine run for a bit and blow out a little water in the exhaust. Man that Encore Titanium exhaust is LOUD
Finally got back to the wheels and started on the inner barrel with my Ez Brush
All foamed up
Did the face and behind the spokes with my microfibre mitt
And a wet after shot
Started rinsing down the car and noticed right away no wax was on the car which for me was a good thing for polishing but a bad thing for the car until it met me lol
No water beading = no wax
Started washing the car using the 2 bucket method and a natural sea sponge
Then dried off with my waffle weave towel
Brought it in the garage and began to clay bar the paint
The dirt the clay was picking up
I think someone ended up off the track
After the claying I measured the paint to see the levels I was working with
No repaints and nothing ridiculously thin
