Hello everyone!

Westfalia Automotive Australia has recently become a sponsor of Bimmerfest Australia and we are excited to be joining the Bimmer society!

Westfalia Automotive Australia Pty Ltd (WAAU), a member of the Westfalia-Group, has now entered the Australian market, making it the 12th country for the innovative German brand. The iconic towbar manufacturer uses advanced German technology for the local and overseas markets.

WAAU is a wholly owned subsidiary of the German company Westfalia - Automotive GmbH. The parent company is the largest towbar manufacturer in Europe producing 1.3 million towbars a year. WAAU currently is an importer from Headoffice in Germany and Westfalia Automotive Asia Pacific in New Zealand. WAAU will start manufacturing in Australia in the near future to service OE customers as well as the Australian Aftermarket.

WAAU offers the perfect towing solution for your BMW!
The A40V Removable fits a wide range of BMW models and is secure and lockable up to 3500kg. This cutting edge technology eliminates the rattle that is common in removable options and it is very easy to operate and remove when not in use. The best part is, it is virtually invisible - a minimal bumper cut ensures that your vehicle looks like it has no towbar fitted when the coupling is removed.

You might have noticed that we have recently changed our logo. We officially launched the subsidiary at the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix and also celebrated the 80-year anniversary of the ball head towbar patent. Part of that was the new or rather "re-invented" logo which has been around since the mid-19th century.

Feel free to ask questions in the forums or contact us via the below channels. There is also a product catalogue attached for various BMW models - we are currently extending our range every week so stay tuned!

Hello, as you will probably see there isn't a great deal of action in the Oz section of Bimmerfest.

Most, if not all, of the guys who have F30's are active on Perhaps it might be beneficial to start at thread there.

Can't talk for the other BMW models though.

Good luck.
