Hi guys,

The crankcase breather hose on my m52tu engine on my e39 is wet with fuel inside.

Is that normal?

That's oil and it smells like fuel. pretty normal. Yours does not look like it is leaking. It is brown and sludgy just like an old car.

Looks like it is allowing the case to breathe as intended. You can always clean it out and look later to see how quickly it gets dirty. If you care about that sort of thing
