hahaha, you'll need a really low profile tires on those. maybe if they make 5 series or is it 30 series the lowest profile tire you can get? then that would be a problem. hahaha.

530i OEM rims with sport package are 17 inch BBS Style 42 Cross-Spoke - - at least for 01-03. I had em, sold em and replaced with BBS RS-GT 18s. See photos. :D

Cool Wheels Nero. I have been thinking about swapping out my sport wheels for something a little more open and easier to clean.
thx

They are great, light weight, nice look and definitely easier to clean. Once I swapped out my OEM front brakes it also helped by decreasing the volume of brake dust.

Thats good to know I was thinking about the RX2s. Any thoughts? I thought they looked pretty cool.

Call me an elitist but I think BBS is BMW. Your rims definitely cool! You achieve a bitchin look - - the cross spoke is classic while also lowering your unsprung weight hence improving the overall performance of the car. Much argument about size though. 18 prolly max for actual performance - - in reality 17 prolly better. 19 is pure bling but hell it looks damn good. :)

The RX2s come in 18s and 19s. I would probably go for the 18s but maybe I should find one that comes in 17 as my driving style is more agressive than not and the current wheels being 17s perform quite nicely with the Michelin Pilots.

If you track it then 17 probably the best. If you are a street runner than 18s are fine. The 18s were fine for me, my ride did not really change until I switched out the OEM sport suspension for Dinan. Its definitely communicates more of the road - which is good and bad. Good because you feel the car more, bad because your ass does too.

They'd be great in the snow!

Does TireRack have the right hubcentric adapter rings to fit?
