They go in the rear bumper where reflectors should be. I'm trying to sell them, but I have no idea what they are called.

There obviously not rear bumper reflectors. Those are on the '08's and newer but can be installed on earlier models. I would list them as "Rear Bumper Inserts for 04-07 BMW E60".
