What is a PC?

I keep seeing posts where you guys talk about a "PC" but not one single person has spelled out whatever this acronym is. Acronyms are horrible, IMHO. :)

probably model 7424 Porter Cable buffer

PC = Porter Cable

They make buffers/polishers. Also called Dual Action (DA) or Random Orbital (RO) polishers.

You can get them directly from PC or from places like Griot's Garage which sells them under the PC name (http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_1000&L2=L2_1004&SKU=10625) or Meguiar's which sells a PC-built unit under their own name (http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguiars/product_detailpage.cfm?sku=G-100&store=meg). You can get them from several other sources as well.
SHICKS...how much all that stuff cost?
Shick has a bend for the conservative. I'd be surprised if his product cost more than his PC. A LOT more can be spent on detailing stuff. :angel:

Hehehe....This is not even half of it, that is just my new exterior products for 2005!!!

Each bottle of stuff in that pic is about 15-20$, PC was 99 and 5 pads at $8each and a mounting plate for pads 15$.

I have about 50 Microfiber towels ranging in size and quality.

I have endless interior products, but my current favorites are Zaino Z-10 leather conditoner and 303 aerospace protectant, Invisible glass and the new armor all.

Oooo you should try the 1Z Leatherphledge (?). Side by side, it wins hands down over Zaino. I still use Zaino on the seat rears so I can get the leather stanky smell I like.
