Don't know why this is so hard to figure out but I have doubts. I put an HU 925/4 X oil filter that I got from AutohausAZ in my sons 2003 325i, M54 engine. It was the same dimensions as the one that came out of it, whatever that was. Is this the correct filter?

Even if it is the correct one, is there something better at a reasonable price that I could be using?

That is the correct filter, how much did you see it for? When I looked it was only $5.05 that's pretty reasonable

The price was not an issue on the MANN (i think I paid $5-6 for it), I just wondered if there was another one that forum members like better. At least now I know that I put in the correct one. Thx

There are others out there, but I think most of us here use Mann since it's the same filter they would give you at the dealer only almost a third the price!
