what is the first part of your e46 to get dirty?

for me, the whole back side of the car (back of trunk lid and the rear bumper) gets dirty almost instantly. I think a lot of it is break dust and tire rubber plus road debris. :(

Same here. I think its a combination of crap moving around the car while moving, as well as sucking other crap up from below the car. Is it the effect of downforce? I dunno. But it drives me nuts that the rest of the car is clean but the tailgate is filthy.
my subaru doesn't seem to be affected as much by this. :dunno:

for me, it's usually the seat, depending on how many whacko's are out on I76 in the morning.

I don't understand.... do the whackos scare you enough to induce self soiling or do you give a lot of these whackos (hitchhikers) rides and they're dirty?

No trues words have been posted:eek:

The rest of the xiT will still be spotless while the tailgate and rear bumper look like Alan F's wheels:mad: And usually too much *dirt* to just detail spray:bawling:
Oh I'll bet the First par of your car to get dirty is the floormats ....you don't even have to drive the car for that, just get in it...

You don't take your shoes off before getting into the car? :dunno:

heh, u left coasters don't know what it's like to drive NASCAR-style at high speeds in the morning.. your freeways are 4-6 lanes wide and average about 25mph during rush hours...

on I76 in Philadelphia, it's 2 lanes wide, and you're doing 80mph with about 8-10 feet of space between the car in front of you, and the car behind. picture the race-cam in jeff gordon's car, and you pretty much have the picture. :yikes:
