Guys, I know Mechelin is good, But do I have other cheaper choices?
Such as Goodyear or Firestone?
eg: Goodyear Eagle GT-HR, Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season, Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position, etc. they runs like <130 each. Compared to Michelins. How bad are they?

I owns a 01 E46 and am a moderate driver. Just 4 reliable tires are fine for me.
Any suggestions?

Kumho (available from The Tire Rack) offers a decent selection of tires at moderate prices.

Based on the tires you listed it would appear you are looking for a high performance all season. I ran through several sets of Michelin Pilot sport AS 225-45-17 on my e46. They worked very well, lasted 35-40k and were expensive. $180.00 apiece. Just put on a set of Bridgestone RE960AS, $132.00 each from the Tire Rack. They actually rate them ahead of the Michelins and they're $50.00 less per tire.
Do not make the mistake of buying tires purely by price. Tires for better or worse have a major impact on how your car drives.
