What's this "sticky accelerator that I keep hearing about?

I'm taking my car in for it's first oil change @ 5k tomorrow morning and my accelerator isn't terribly smooth. I've got a 2002 330ci. Is the dreaded "sticky gas pedal" that I've seen some folks mention? Is there a fix?

Never mind. Saw the post from BMWNA on E46fanatics. I guess I'll have to call to have the parts shipped to my local dealer for install later. :banghead:
