Just curious for no specific reason, thanks!
November (or late October) will be the first deliveries for 2003 models, assuming that production starts in September (as it invariably does). Orders for 2003s will begin much earlier; if you haven't submitted an order for a 2002 by late July you'll probably be forced to wait for an 03 (or take a leftover 02 off the lot). Actual allocations for 2003 models will be available in August, so this is the first time you'll be able to submit and order to BMWNA/AG. The dealer will be happy to take your money in advance of this, though.

I doubt that there will be any changes for 03 sedans/wagons; the rumored coupe freshening is possible.

I am going to be purchasing a BMW through the ED program..........i am 'hoping' sometime this week. Was just curious if it would be wiser to just wait for the 2003's.....but screw that :)

edit: by the way, thanks for the info!

Yeah I like the Coupes front also, I hope they don't change it to like the new sedans. I like how the lights wrap around but the small fog lights and loss of that nice lower grill effect I love especially when its grey on a blue car ;O)

hey rufus. where are you doing your degree at? I too graduate with a comp. sci. degree from UC Davis .
believe me..i know the pain of waiting for your car. my car juts arrived at the port today and I am hoping to have it by monday. the wait is excruciating but the weird sensations you feel in your body during the final week; definetely worth the wait.....

I'm going to start my Junior year here next year at Penn State University (Harrisburg Campus). Gotta love all the mind bending programs prof's give out...... I've been waiting since last year...I got 25k saved up so my payments should be around 300/month I would have ordered the car earlier then July but car insurance isn't cheap with an accident on the record...comes off July 6th this year makes 3 years (I was young and dumb...) but anyways I can't wait till July. You must be in a nervous wreck being in the final week ;) Good luck and let me know how it turns out.
