Where do you get your basic BMW OEM replacement parts?
I'm looking to find the "best" supplier for small parts.
I've owned a BMW car for less than a month so I know nothing.

Where do YOU go to get your basic small OEM parts?
These are things you don't want to spend time to research prices.
You just want to order them knowing you'll get a basic good deal.

Doing some research using my ambient temperature sensor as the test I find almost all places have the exact same price. Only a few stand out.

For example, using local dealer as the control:
$49.50 incl tax (MSRP = $29.95)

AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (PN 65-81-6-905-133):
$37.83 incl tax & shipping 866-286-2051 http://alleuropeanautoparts.com
$35.50 incl tax & shipping 714-835-1221 http://www.crevierbmw.com
$36.90 incl tax & shipping 800-535-2002 http://www.bavauto.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 888-810-9223 http://bimmerpartswholesale.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 800-230-5754 http://www.alloembmwparts.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 800-859-0923 http://autopartswarehouse.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 800-267-1845 http://overnightautoparts.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 800-240-4620 http://autohausaz.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 800-364-3005 http://bmwautobodypartstore.com
$37.13 incl tax & shipping 888-628-3247 http://www.thepartsbin.com

I have no experience in obtaining OEM BMW parts.
(I have plenty of experience in Japanese luxury cars where I have preferred suppliers).

Who is YOUR preferred supplier for basic BMW OEM parts?

Hey, you said Crevier $30 shipped and than $35. Which one is it?
When I first called Crevier, the operator put me through to someone in "WHOLESALE". When I called back to order, the price magically jumped up to "RETAIL". I don't blame them; I must've talked to the wrong person. I had already annoted the JPEG by then so I updated this web page price list accordingly to remain accurate.

Likewise, the "FREE SHIPPING" disappeared with alleuropeanparts!
When I called them to order today, that free shipping only applies to orders less than $75. Again, my fault.

I called Pacific at 800-909-PART at 5:15 but they were gone for the day.
I sent in a web query & I may try Pacific tomorrow and report back on the price.

For my Japanese luxury cars, I have a preferred supplier for all parts under $100 (which I don't need to research because this supplier is GREAT). That's all I'm looking for with BMW. This preferred supplier knows you by the sound of your voice and doesn't even ask what the car is or the credit card ... he just knows you and gives you the best deal. He gets all my business & recommendations.)

You'd have to wait until Monday for Pacific. You need the "internet" department, and they give prices M-F only for that dep.

I know you are on the other coast but on the East coast CircleBMW is very popular. They don't have prices list online (that I could find) but a quick email got a prompt response. Their prices (for Brake discs and pads) was on average 10% lower then Bavarian Autosports. I didn't compare shipping rates between the two though.

Yep, third vote for BMA. I get all my parts there. Great service, great prices, free shipping over $50.00. Talk to Patrick or Ives...they know BMW's.
