I'm still waiting for my grille to get blacked out, should be ready tomorrow.

To go from black to full matte white costed me $1000, in my opinion that is an awesome price for such a big thing. I won't have to change anything in my ownership nor in my insurance, since the car is still black inside.

Looks good! I don't know how they are in Canada, but around here, I'd get the color change noted in my paperwork. Unless you like getting pulled over out of suspicion it's a stolen car.

Not a wrap, just plastidipped. Basically spray on color that can be peeled off.

Is there a difference between wrapped and dipped? Or just different nomencalture for the same approach?

wrapping a car requires a lot more work, plastidip is a rubber material sprayed on the car

Do you need to notify the DMV or equivalent that your color has changed? I wonder if you would get hassled in a traffic stop situation. But probably not, I'd think - they would likely just note down your "new" color on any ticket.

as far as I know, you don't have to change color in the ownership, it is white, but still black inside. Plasti dip can be pealed off if needed, without leaving any residue

Can you take pictures of the doorjams? I wondered how clean they look, when i tried doing side skirts on an audi fro a longtrip, there was a lot of overspray.

From my experience plasti dip scratches off easily....I can't imagine with repeated use the door handles would hold up but I hope I'm wrong. Either way looks amazing for what it is. :thumbup:

Stil don't understand why people don't like plastidipping cars. Same outcome as vinyl wrap IMHO. Can you take some shots upclose to show texture?
