Hi guys I am in the market for a new used bmw X5, today i went to have a look at an 2004 X5 4.4L. I did an inspection and when everything looked very good I asked to rev the engine and look at the exhaust while it would rev and start up. This is what i saw.

Also worth noticing, it only came from the left exhaust pipe. What should I do? Is this an easy fix? Or should I turn around and never look back?

Maybe also worth noting, this was after the test drive, when the engine was at temperature.

probably needs new valve stem seals replacement. Typical cost to fix it is about $2.5k -$3.5k .... Yeap about 3 thousands. Ask seller to fix it before you buy.
