FWIW, www.2wglobal.com now says the Leo Leader is going to arrive at Port Hueneme on the 12th... I think they got delayed a day in the Southeast. Slackers.

I'm really hoping for a Friday the 15th pickup... I really would like to have the car for the long weekend.

I'm having the dealer (Cutter) install a bunch of stuff too, though, (M steering wheel, CD changer, OEM alarm -- I know, easy DIYs... but I want it all ready when I pick it up, damnit!) so that might add a little more delay.

Thanks Rip. I've already looked at those pics so many times they're burned onto the insides of my eyelids. I think I mutter "1-800-831-1117 option 3" in my sleep, too.

According to my dealer, the car is flagged at the factory as "Sold" therefore it makes the assembly line faster than the allotment orders.

It looks like the Leo Leader is taking it's sweet time making it up the West Coast. According to the latest schedule it should be in Port Hueneme on the 13th now.

According to BMWNA my car has been offloaded from the ship and is scheduled for processing tomorrow. Damn, wish they could hurry up.
