Well since my 5er was designed by Chris, and my X5 had help from Chris; I will vote Bangle. Don't see any Bangle butt here. Having owned two of Claus designed cars- they were okay but IMO kind of blah; Chris bangle really made BMW daring, edgy, and unique; and I like it.
I voted "Bangle". The cars are not designed by Bangle himself but by a whole team, with Bangle running it, offering general direction. I have an article suggesting they sketch numerous designs and finally build a few life size clay models, which end up in front of the Board, and the Board chooses the final one for production. It was the Board who pushed for avant-garde designs because they wanted a whole new look for the BMW model line up. Most of these Bangle bashing is stupid because there is a whole team behind him, executives higher up and many other factors that shape the final design. Do you think the BMW Board (many being "big" shareholders) would past a blind eye from the 1990's design and go to quite radical design changes by allowing Bangle alone to do all that? No.
Voting for one man and commenting about "his" work alone is :jack:.
