I've been keeping an eye on the local classifieds and I have to tell you that people are asking a lot of moeny for their used cars:dunno: :dunno:

There are Integra's in the paper for $15k that are 1998's

Prelude owners are just plain delusional at $12-14,000 for 6 yr old preludes !!

Celica Conv's (or Celeica's in general) are WAY over priced. There was a 94 Celica Conv for $12,500 today . . . are these people freakin crazy !!! Who's going to buy there 8 yr old used car for $12k ? ?

So far it looks like the eclipses are the only cars that are reasonably priced, there is a 98 GST conv for $14,500 . . .

Could it be...because they're worth it?

;-)

Sold me '96 (stock) GS-R with 62k miles on it to some kid last year for 12k (would've gotten more, but it was vandalized--they stole the spoiler, literally the night before he came by to buy it, otherwise I'd have stuck to my $12.5 asking price).

BTW, I only paid $19.1k for it new (3% over invoice).

Now if only my bimmer could hold its resale as well....

Depends on the car. I am still thinking of selling my 94 MR2 turbo and it's in excellent shape, for around $15,000. It all depneds on what the market will bear and were you live.

Sticker was 32,800 in 94!! Did it Alee style, with every option and there were only like 200 or so turbo's imported in 94. Like I said, depends on the car, were you live and what people are willing to pay.

My car was fully loaded also with Turbo, t-tops, leather, abs, CD&Tape and whatever there options there were . . .

They're good cars :thumb: Edmunds has my 1996 Prelude Si (77K+ miles) at $10,706 private party and $12,600 retail...Over $13K for a certified vehicle.

I have had ZERO problems with the car; it's pretty zippy and get 28-30 mpg. I'd get rid of it, but why?

Sheesh !! Those cars really do hold their value !!

I can't understand how you paid around $18-20,000 for your car and it's only worth $7,000-9,000 less. I would think that prelude would be worth $8,000 to $9,000 at the most.

My 330 is worth $9,000 less than what I paid and that only if I'm lucky !!

I got a pretty good deal for options...but after TT&L got out at a little under $23K. Sticker was $23,500 I believe. But like I said, not a whole lot of problems, just general maintenance.

I'm still on the original front brake pads and clutch, and I don't baby it much:p
