Hey guys im new to this forum so go easy on me but i was looking for rims for my 1999 323i sedan that have 195/65R16 and i found a killer deal off of a 2008 535xi and the tire size on the rims are 225/50R17. I would like to know if these tires will fit both the front and rear on my car without changing or altering the suspension. I plan on using the rims I take off as winter tires and leave the new rims and tires for non winter season. Is this possible?
will 225/50/17r fit 99 323i?

Yon need to brush up on your Wheelology....
Read the E46 Wiki, especially the section on wheel fitment. Learn what the terms "bolt circle", "offset", and "hub centerbore"mean. Those are the three critical specs for proper wheel fitment. Any wheels that meet all 3 of those criteria will work on your car.
