Xdrive? normal all season tires would suffice.
545i I have a set of Blizzak and they work great
Cool, I will check those out! Thanks.check out the dunlop winter sport M3 or the new 3D. I have the M3 on my 535i and have survived the bavarian winters.

Don't want to open yet another xdrive+all_season vs RWD+snow_tires, but if you plan on driving in the snow you owe yourself a set of snow tires. I am using Dunlop D3 on my X5, never get stuck unless we are talking steep incline (30-grade private road leads to my house) on 1-foot fresh snow (more like I am not going to risk ending in the ditch so I park down the street and walk up).
I am going to order a set for my 535i RWD this fall, I'll suggest you look at tirerack web-site for tests and reviews. If still in doubt, [email protected] will steer you to the right tires, he hangs around this forums as sponsor BTW.
How much are you selling them for?I've got a set of Blizzaks on Borbet rims for sale. I'll throw pics up this weekend. Search for my thread.
Do I have to install the TPMS sensors? What will happen if I don't?
What are performance snow?
Performance has higher speed rating and have a great selection on wider width and lower profile, if you are getting a new rims go get the 17" and just order non-performance they are as good in the snow.Do I have to install the TPMS sensors? What will happen if I don't?

yes you need TPMS, they are $45 each tire.

+1
With 17" rims and these tires on my 550, I've had no issues through 2 winters in Winnipeg and 1 in Calgary. We have Blizzaks on our X3 and it's virtually unstoppable with the lower power and xDrive.
