I've been still shopping for an x5, and have come along many I wanted to purchase, but the wood trim is that light wood color on all the vehicle that I was interested in, I really don't like that light wood trim, so how much and how hard would it be to replace that intereior wood trim?

It's interesting a lof of folks don't like the light poplar trim that much. I for one prefer this over the dark wood. May be it's just me. :dunno:

all the vehicle I find have the light wood finish...........

You can get the dark wood trims (from King ie) and sell the light wood that comes with the car. I've just changed from dark to light recently.

I think a lot depends on the interior color choices. 3-series get the Myrtle wood if you specify wood trim (or get it as part of a package) and I don't think it looks good with the gray interior.

Very true. I've always had black interior and dark wood. Just want to try something different.
